This is one of the only non-horror games that I have played on Itch.io. I loved this game, I wish it was a bit longer, but I understand it is still in development. I enjoyed the vibe, the music, the voice acting, etc. An amazing game from start to finish, I made a video for it as well, hope you see it Mr. Lee.

Developer note:
The +x right is missing for the binary in the app bundle.
You can include chmod u=rwx command in the script which pack the binary to the bundle.
Discovered Timeout on twitter a while ago. I've been waiting for that game to be released! I really loved some ideas and aspects of the game, there is a super interesting lore behind all this. The only problematic issue I had was with the dialog text apparitions. They were slowed down by my computer, so they were not synchronised with the voice acting. But I was still able to hear and understand what the characters were saying so I still got the story and a good immersion :D!

Hi there! I bought your game yesterday and I try to play it today but I don't know what is going on but all I can see is white with a few shadows...I can see the menus, the cursor, everything but the game...please help...(I'm trying to play it on windows 10 X64.
Hi Christopher! Thank you for your reply :). I downloaded the new version (I can see that you added a few more options to the menu)...but I still can't see the in-game images, but i can see the texts...It's really weird...I'm adding some images that might explain it better.

Damn, this game looks amazing and has great atmosphere! Really loved the influences you took from Bioshock and The Last Night. (Which isn’t even released yet at the time of this comment!) I got invested in the world and by the time I was finished, I wanted to know even more about it! I made a video with my commentary and experiences, keep up the amazing work! This was something special.
I tried the new update. The vsync is working fine now. The one problem I faced was the quit option in the in-game menu doesn't work but it works fine in the main menu.
Hi, I again tested it but the vsync problem has again popped up. Actually I didn't test it properly last time. The problem started when I first ran the app and clicked the vsync option multiple times. The in-game quit button is working now.
Wow! Super stylish. I noticed that you can get stuck if you run straight up right when you leave your office, behind the ladder. The voice acting/visuals/music were great!
I don't really know why this is happening as Unity should bundle everything with the program so that it would be irrelevant which distribution I use.
Also, the crash doesn't always happen at the same time, sometimes I can stay a while longer in the menu without any issues until I select an option or move the cursor to another option without clicking it.
Another thing: When I manage to start the game before it crashes, the game runs at literally about 1 FPS (well it basically just freezes but sometimes continues for a couple of milliseconds).
Hey Christopher. Just a heads up that this only works if you use the software you state; The Unarchiver. I tried it with the Archive Utility tool and assumed it'd have no impact on running that game, and it still didn't work. After installing The Unarchiver it worked fine. So if any Mac users come to you saying it still doesn't work, make sure the first question is |did you use The Unarchiver"

After you unarchived the application:
1. If you have the message: "The application can't be opened.", open the Terminal app:
Execute these commands:
Command 1: cd Downloads
Command 2: chmod u=rwx TimeOut_Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/TimeOut

The Linux build worked well except for when there was lightning and rain where it stuttered a little

Edit: Found one problem - turning on vsync makes the screen go black but the menu works.

The Linux build seems to crash after a few seconds (right on the main menu).

Hey! Let me get back to you with this, Linux might take awhile to be fixed. In the meantime, do you have any other OS to play it on?
Sure! I use Linux as my main OS but I still have Windows left where I usually play some games that won't work on Linux otherwise.

Here's the fix for Mac!
1. Unzip using the Unarchiver
2. A move to bin prompt will appear once you click the game. Hit cancel.
3. Head to security and privacy settings > General and select "Open Anyway".
4. Launch TimeOut
